Fredericksburg Writers Conference is the brainchild of Mara Fox Moretti and Robert Deming. Mara has the ideas, Robert knows how to make them happen. We have no organizational structure beyond that, no premises, no mailing address, no money, no bylaws, no officers, no dues. Maybe we will have all these things at some point. Right now we are building a core group of writers in the Fredericksburg, Texas area.

We hold Quarterly Meetings at the Hill Country University Center from about 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. These meetings have a noteworthy speaker on a topic related to writing.
We hold Open Critique Group meetings from time to time. We may start a group called Sit Down, Shut Up, and Write.
